There is nothing like knitting while watching and old movie!  A good old movie!  Just got finished watching Barbara Stanwyck in "No Man of Her Own" with John Lund.  A good pairing!  Very good movie!  You get drawn in and lost in it!

Sometimes, I often think of what life would have been for me had I been living in another time and place.  But the realization that as a disabled person, with multiple disabilities, my life would not be as full as it is right now!  GOD has been very good to me, and I am very thankful!  The blessings are too numerous to list.
Sitting here now working on another hat.  It is amazing what knitting has done for my life!  It is such of part of my daily living now, it has taken the place of cigarettes as my addiction.  This addiction has positive results!  Results that you can see and share.

Sometimes, I get so stressed.  Continually thinking of our day to day issues ( we have a plenty of them too!) and how we will try to overcome them.  It can really really cause problems.  It is not like we have new problems springing up, it's the same ones.  By now you would think I would have a handle on dealing with them.  lol lol  One day!
That is when you pick up the knitting and start a pot of coffee!  Somehow, they soothe!  You mindset changes, and u can relax.  It also gives you the quiet time needed to spend with GOD.  I seem to be able to talk to Him, meditate and focus on positive creative things. 
They will tell you that coffee isn't the best thing for you, and they are right to a certain extent, but it is not the worst thing for you either!

Getting back into the "knit ' of things!

Have not been on here for a good bit, had orders to fulfill and worked on my website!!  Really have been busy!  Not that I am the greatest knitter, I am learning still.  Want to share my website with u and some of the things I have made.  Hope u enjoy!

Nice fall day!  This really is the best time of year.  I like to colors of fall better than any other season.  You still have some flowers in bloom, the grass is still green, but the tress are putting on a spectacular show.  They are beautiful when they are fully dressed in their different shades of green, but in fall u have all the fall colors as well as some greens.  It is just a beautiful time of year!   Found this picture below on my FB page. It  is gorgeous to me!  Just sat there looking at it with my cup of bean soup in my hand, wishing for all those colors in a stash of yarn.  Check it out!  What do u think? 

Up all night!

I find that I work best at night. So generally I am up all night and sleep during the day.  It works for me so far!  My children are grown.  Trying as I might to get this business going.  Not an easy task as it takes time to knit.  I believe deep down that it is worth it!     Check it out:   www.2needleknits.com
